The Fighting Apostles did not play last week, but the Church Softball League went to bat for the Northfield Community Action Center. The Fellowship Scramble raised $5,400 for our neighbors’ basic needs.

Apostles Christian Hakala and Doug Morris donated their time to play during the day. Christian’s team ended up winning the tournament. Thanks to all who donated to the event. If there are any straggling donations, you can send them to Jim Blaha at the Northfield CAC, 1651 Jefferson Parkway.

The Apostles stand 6-2 with three games to play. We’re leading the Protestant Division. On Sunday we resume league play at 6 p.m. when we take on Little Prairie at Babcock Park. Join the fun. We’d love to see you there.
