Join us on Palm Sunday for a very exciting day at First UCC. Worship services will begin with a Procession of the Palms; all children are asked to gather in the rear of the sanctuary at 9:45 am to organize before worship begins. During worship, we will welcome 6 new members to First UCC. After worship, a welcome reception with cake and coffee will be held for the new members in the Assembly Room, and the Sunday school classes will be hosting a “Walk-Thru Holy Week” presentation downstairs in the Big Room.

At 11:45, our Faith Forum will begin in the rear of the Sanctuary. This week’s presentation will be Immigration and the Northfield Immigrant Experience. Members of Carleton’s Interfaith Social Action (IFSA) student group will talk about the data on immigration nationally and locally, the immigrant experience in Northfield, and some of the current programs for immigrants here. They will also give examples of how Northfield community members can help to build bridges between long-time residents and recent immigrants as we seek to make Northfield a more welcoming community for all.
