We are living within a gun violence epidemic. Is that acceptable? Is that inevitable? How do we even talk about it?
On Tuesday, Jan 23 at 7-8:30, the UCC will host a public conversation about gun violence and its prevention, jointly sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Northfield and Cannon Falls and the Northfield chapter of Moms Demand Action. The event will feature a panel of speakers from within and outside Northfield, who will speak to the repercussions of gun violence, the difficulty of talking about gun violence, the challenges of addressing these issues in the legislature, and steps we can take to lessen the toll of gun violence, followed by questions from attendees.
