Minister:
Rev. Sandra Johnson, Email

Sandy was called in 1997 by a vote of the congregation; she has Ordained Ministerial Standing in the United Church of Christ and is a member of the congregation.  She is a 1991 graduate (MDiv) of Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California.  Before attending seminary, she was a developmental psychologist on the research faculty at the University of Washington in Seattle.  She is responsible for conducting worship services, ministering to the spiritual needs of the members, and serving as administrator for the church staff.

Pastoral Care Associate (50% time):
Cathy Cammack, Email

Cathy brings experience as a church member, teacher, and psychotherapist to her position.  She works with the Congregational Care Council, collaborates with the Christian Education Committees, and provides direct pastoral care to many of our members and friends who are confined to their homes.

Director of Educational & Youth Ministries (75% time):
Cher Duys, Email

Cher has a strong background in youth ministry and camping, as well as a career as a pediatric nurse.  She works with the Christian Education Committees (children’s, youth, and adult), and serves as leader of our Senior High Youth Group. 

Director of Music (25% time):
Chris Brunelle, Email

Chris comes to this position with a lifetime (literally) of experience in church music.  He directs the Senior Choir, coordinates the work of other music staff memers, and works with the Arts Committee.

Director of Spirit Voices:
Bob Gregory-Bjorklund, Email

Bob is active in leading music for many regional and national UCC events, and leads the Spirit Voices Choir in our worship service once a month.

Director of Children’s Music:
Janet Lewis Muth, Email

Janet has a wide background in music and church life, and brings energy and her own UCC upbringing to her work with the children in the Angel Choir, Rainbow Choir, and Youth Bell Choir.

Organist:
Theo Wee, Email

Theo has played the organ at First UCC since September of 1969, serving many years as our Minister of Music.

Office Manager (75% time):
Elaine Malecha, Email

Elaine is responsible for many administrative tasks in the church, including the Sunday bulletin, monthly newsletter The Chronicle, building use, keys, and the church calendar.

Bookkeeper and Web-site Manager (30% time):
Andrea Pegram, Email

Andrea is our bookkeeper and works with the treasurer and Stewardship Committee.  She also manages our church website.

Custodian (85% time):
Ron Olson

Ron is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of our historic building, and for setting up furniture and other equipment as it is needed.

Night Security:
Mark Fischer

Mark makes sure our building is locked and secured each evening.

Child Care Coordinator:
Tammy Rischmiller, Email

Tammy oversees the equipment and supplies in the nursery, schedules volunteers to do childcare on Sunday mornings, and is both present and in charge of the nursery on Sunday mornings.
