Simply put, WFFF is wonderful! How else, in the span of three weeks, can you eat Apostle-prepared sloppy joes, engage in spirited conversation about what God is, play Jenga with Jerry Hankins, and make bread in a bag? The more people come, the better it is!! See you on Wednesday!

This was helpful to me. I am just finishing a memoir or personal history of Murdale Leysath. I hope to publish it this summer. We have been working together since 2004 and I think she is a truly remarkable person. She spoke of meeting you at the Synod in Hartford. Right now she seems to be in a better phase but there is no cure for all her ailments. Betty L.

Thanks to Beth for her great work with the preschoolers this year! You could find her on any given Sunday searching for glitter, play-doh, stickers, glue, etc. in the resource room – always ready to find new and creative ways to teach the curriculum. Special kudos to her for teaching them the value of thoughtful philanthropy and service to others through their Heifer bookmarks for beehives project.

So, I don’t know if you know this, but apparently “What a friend we have in Jesus” used to be a really traditional wedding song. Aron and I met with my grandfather a couple days after you gave this sermon about wedding music, and he told us he sang it for his first wedding ever – almost 70 years ago! He’ll be singing it at our wedding, too – I thought of your sermon right away!
